Recently, media was abuzz with Yashashri Masurkar, the parallel lead of Colors' Sanskaar making an exit from the show due to some creative differences and now we hear that Ankita Sharma aka Nimrit of Life OK's Amrit Manthan is also following her foot steps.
Here, we come up with something buzzing that we heard through the grapevine. If sources are to be believed than Ankita is in talks with the producers on her decision to leave Amrit Manthan. Reason? The actress is not satisfied with the pay package she gets from her producers and needs a hike.
Owing to the actress' courteous behavior, the producers have asked for time to think over her proporsal and if producers agree to Ankita's quoted amount she will be restored or else the makers have to either find new Nimrit or play with the track.
When contacted, Ankita Sharma stayed tight lipped on the development.

Drunken Yug plays a prank on Amrit!
Karan Mehra aka Yug of Life OK's Amrit Manthan, who is appreciated for his good looks, acting skills and a phenomenal chemistry with Amrit (Adaa Khan) has a fun side too. While shooting for a drunken sequence today, Karan shocked his co-star Adaa by playing a prank on her.
In conversation with Tellybuzz, Adaa Khan shares her experience of being victimised by Karan, she says, "We had to shoot for a sequence whereby Karan was required to be shown drunk. Karan came up to me and said that he will get drunk in reality in order to add a genuine touch to the scene."
"For the same, I asked my director and he too confirmed that he himself gave permission to Karan. After we shot for the scenes, Karan said because of excessive drinking his head was pounding. The atmosphere became worse when he became dizzy and nauseated. I got so worried that I immediately ran and bought water for him."
"And just the next moment Karan busted out laughing and left me in shock. When I realised that I was victimised by a prank played by Karan, I got so annoyed." (Laughs)
On the same, Mr.Prankster Karan says, "It was fun to play a prank of this kind on Adaa. The expressions on her face were priceless. It was a fun time and everyone on the sets really enjoyed."
Adaa also says, "I know Karan since our earlier show Behenein and we are good buddies. We get along with each other really well. Karan is a very mischievous guy and he keeps doing masti all the time."

Karan and Nimrit to get married in Amrit Manthan!
Going through lots of twist and turns, is Rajan Shahi's Amrit Manthan in the upcoming episodes. As per the precap, the viewers have seen Karan proposing to Nimrit for marriage and in the upcoming tracks of the show, their journey will undergo through a lot of dramatic twist and turns.
Our source says, "Nimrit (Ankita Sharma) doesn't want to get married to Karan and she tries her level best to stop this wedding. According to one of the effort made by her, she gets Karan (Angad Hasija) kidnapped by the goons so that he cannot reach the mandap before the muhurat. However, Nimrit won't succeed with her plan, as after a lot of fight sequence, Karan gets himself released from the clutches of the goons and reaches the mandap and gets married to Nimrit."
When contacted Angad, he said, "Though we couldn't shoot much for the fight sequence because of the rains it was a good experience to shoot for the sequence. I have got to do something different in the show with different shades to my character. I am enjoying a lot."
It will be interesting to watch as how this drama unfolds and how Nimrit will suffer the torture done by Karan to her.

Tejam worried that Nimrit is not home yet and Nimrit comes over.Upon inquiring where she was Karan comes and says she was with me at site to thank me.Nimrit not happy leaves from there. She looks at Agam’s picture and asks him to forgive her as they killed
him because of her.Karan enters the room and shows all the mails received from Nimrit Malik’s id.Karan hands over his laptop and asks Nimrit to look at all the mails she sent inspte of his sister begging for mercy.Nimrit tells karan that she did not blackmail his sister but cannot prove her innocence as yet. Nimrit reads all the black mail emails from karan’s laptop and wonders who used her name.
In kitchen at night
Tej making cake for JoJo and Amrit bumps into him in the kitchen and says she is attempting the same.Both make cake and Amrit puts salt in place of sugar.They both think that BanJo will be happy when they see the cake.Amrit says Great Job Captain Tej and Tej says thank you Princess. They both have an eyelock while the cake is baking and then they both

At technical support office
Nimrit tries to find out from some bulakkad technical guy who hacked her computer. The guy replies that her system was not hacked but the mail id is fake and the account was made from Mumbai and the name is Amrit.
My Darling Jojo is back from her field trip. She tells Bani that she missed her. She asked where mamma is and if she is still in hospital.Everyone plays along and says yes Nimrit is in hospital as they want to surprise her.Bani and Jo share gifts they bought for each other. Bani is upset that she did not bring her favourite fruit cake but Tejam comes and surprises them by bringing the cake they made.
Nimrit returning in car and very sad that it is Amrit who has created a fake account in her name and upset that Sony’s family is shattered because of her and even Agam is killed because of Amrit. Same time Nimrit gets call from Amrit but she does not respond.
Yug comes and gets fruit cake from a bakery and he sees that there is already a cake. Bani says Tejam already made a cake for them in the night and Yug is not happy hearing that.

Bani, Tej , Jo everyone eats the cake but no one says it is salty and every one says it is good as Tej signals them. Tej takes one more piece and Yug is all Jealous.Amrit gives a piece to yug but he denies. Tej asks her not to force him and Yug tells that I will eat since you have made.Yug tastes it and throws it off saying it is too salty. Tej says that the kids have shown maturity but he hasn’t and what was the reason to hurt Amrit. Yug says that he and Amrit shares no formality in their relationship and he will not give jhooti tareef like him.
Tej’s room
Amrit comes to Tej’s room and he is packing his stuff as he is going out for a meeting.
Amrit asks why he told her that cake is tasty and he says that sometimes it is good to lie to make others happy.Tej forgets his watch and Amrit reminds him and gives him his watch. Karan who sees this thinks that he needs to keep Amrit busy if he has to hurt Nimrit.
In the hall
He goes to Yug who is cleaning his revolver. He asks if he is planning to use it on him and Yug replies that he is his friend and can never do that. Karan instigates Yug that Tej is trying to impress Amrit and that he should be careful and kind of makes Yug think that he needs to fight for Amrit from Tej even if he has to use his gun

About politicians who are unconvincing?
Definitely there are men around who have conviction and stick to values all their lives. Gandhi was one shining example. They are a rare breed who perhaps were and are hope for India under threat from many politicians who sound unconvincing because they are unadulterated opportunists. Now, politicians are everywhere which they ought to be serving people rather than adorning various organizations and lucrative bodies. Not only that, some influential regional satraps have taken politics to a new art. It is the great art of possibilities where everything is possible or can be made so. Look at Nitesh Kumar. He is innocuous, smiling and sounds very natural. But behind his cleverly crafted image is a huge façade of duplicity and deceit. Nitesh praised Modi in 2003. Only a year ago Godhra and Gujarat riots had taken place. Everybody was baying for Modi’s blood. Vajpayee had asked Modi to perform Raj Dharma. But Nitesh was comfortable with BJP. Ten years later, when the mood in the country is for change and in favour of development same Nitesh is uncomfortable with BJP. Fascinating reasons are put forward behind his praising Modi. According to the Bihar Chief Minister, “on public platforms criticism of colleagues is not established practice of political protocol”. For ten long years Nitesh stuck to ‘political protocol’ and now he has decided to part ways because the ‘limit’ has been crossed. How could Janata Dal Supremo tolerate Modi under ‘protocol’ for a decade sounds as unconvincing as possible? In fact it is not only un- credible but pure deceit and looking the other way round when historic moments arrive. On the other side is yet another sample of a politician who despite all his lifelong commitment to a cause, finally floundered and ran his ship stranded in the midst of a moment when the ship needed smooth and full steam sailing. Lal Krishan Advani like a nursery child after a toy went many steps further and jeopardized his party’s interests to a grave extent. During Goa conference he said that he was ill so could not attend but actually wanted that Modi should not be made head of election campaign committee a sequel to his being nominated as BJP’s PM candidate. The Iron Man lost all his steely nerves and smarting under the affront virtually put all BJP on the rocks. He wants to become PM of India in recognition to his lifelong services to politics. Perhaps, here the hard fact is that either his grooming in the nursery of RSS was faulty or his personal ambition is above the national aspirations. Students of history will thrash it out at the opportune time. But for the present Advani sounds unconvincing and uninspiring. This is a sad epitaph for a life time politician. There is another politician who despite his spectacles which should have made his sight clear is behaving as if all wisdom was injected into his head at the time of Amrit Manthan. Digvijay Singh calls the deadly terrorist of the world Osama Bin Laden as Osama ji. He calls Modi a fascist without knowing anything about fascism. For him Modi is the breath of death out to devour the minorities of the country. Many times he has been chastised by his own party but his ‘sacred wisdom’ has to be disseminated. Some politicians are fit for some museum or a zoo. They have a different quotient around them. Laloo for instance is the high mark of India’s waning political acumen. He plays a clown and a buffoon. For him BJP, Nitesh, Modi and sometimes even Congress are anti-India. Only he and his Rabri who does not know where Delhi is on the map of the country are the perfect couple politicians who will rid India of all ills. Politics has been made into a stretch rubber band where even a Rabri can become Chief Minister of a crucial state of India. Under this tragic drama of India’s tryst with democracy, these politicians sound totally unconvincing. This is a regret that hurts the Indian citizenlike a permanent barb.

How is it playing the role of Adaa?
It is a very challenging role and I get to play many shades in one show itself. The lead actress in many show does not get to play so many shades in one show, and I am thankful to Rajan sir for giving me the opportunity to play the role of Amrit. It is a very strong character and I enjoy playing it.
How did you get this role?
Rajan sir had seen my performance in Behenen and when the show got over I had gone to give the audition for Rajanji's show Havan as a main lead and that is when Rajan sir told me not to audition for Havan as he had something else in mind for me. I waited and as the saying goes that patience pays off well stood true for me. After the show Havan went off air, Rajan sir came up with Amrit Manthan which was in process even before Havan got over but eventually it went on air after Havan. He sais he always had me in mind to play the role of Amrit and here I am.
Do you think that Rajan Shahi has done a perfect choice for the character of Amrit?
Well, this is a question that Rajan sir would be able to answer very well. I believe that he must have had seen something in me and hence he told me to play the character of Amrit.
How did acting happen to you?
I take life as it comes and before getting into television I used to do modelling. I have shot for many print advertisements. From then my friend suggested me that I should get into television and hence my pictures got circulated in this industry and I got my first show Palanpur Express which aired on Sony. That show's cast soon changed but it was a learning experience for me. Later, I got Behenein which was a fantastic show. The character that I played of Aakashi was a very strong character. Amrit Manthan is yet another fabulous show with a strong headed character of Amrit which has many shades all in one.

I would complete my masters in Psychology and continue in the same field.
Your thoughts on the television industry?
There is a lot of hard work to be put in this industry but I feel that your luck works the most in this industry. If you are lucky enough than you can survive in this industry. In movies, acting matters a lot but in television if the story and the show is a hit, then you are a hit.
Would you want to get into films?
Well I have been getting good offers for films too but for now I am very happy with television. I enjoy what I am doing right now so I would love to stick to this for now but surely in future I would do want to do films.
Your definition of acting?
Acting for me is a pleasure. I love acting, you get to become someone else all together when you play a character. It is like portraying emotions of a different person. You can simply take my example in Amrit Manthan where Adaa Khan in real life is totally oppose to Amrit onscreen. Also acting for me is a mind diversion in a way. When I get into my character I forget my real life, which somewhere gives me relief sometimes.
How would you differentiate between Aakshi from Behenein and Amrit from Amrit Manthan?
They both are totally opposite characters. Akashi was a strong character who would fight for her rights and would never get underestimated and give back to the people who mistreat her but so also was very positive. Amrit is different than Aakashi, Amrit is also a very strong character but is very negative. She has now turned out to be positive but you never know when she flips back and turns negative again. The best part playing both the characters is that they are strong which is a positive message to the women nowadays. Gone are the days when the women used to not fight back. Women power is a must these days and each woman should learn to be strong."
The characters you wish to play?
I love Jhansi Ki Rani and hence one day would love to play that character onscreen. I also have seen the show Jhansi Ki Rani which aired on Zee TV, and it was simply superb. But well my mother always wanted me to pay a romantic role so I am happy to have fulfilled my mother's wish first.
Who inspires you in this industry?
I was never prepared for this industry and it was my mom who inspired me to go ahead. I thank her for everything and for all that I am today. All of this has been possible because of my mother.
The production house you wish to work with?
With god's grace I have worked with best of the producers so far so I am very happy and have no such choices
An ongoing show you would want to be a part of?
I would like to be a part of Zee TV's show Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke as I follow that show and love it too. I would also like to do the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa. I am a non-dancer and I have seen the way the choreographers make the celebrities learn different dance forms hence I would want to try on dancing.
Adaa Khan in few sentences?
I am an introvert at times and a fun loving person who totally loves good people's company. I am very choosy when it comes to making friends but when I make someone my friend I see to it that I continue the relation on a good pace. I also like to enjoy life to the fullest.

Nimrit to get Karan kidnapped just before the wedding in Life OK's Amrit Manthan
Viewers can always expect the 'unexpected' when it comes to the twists in Life OK's Amrit Manthan (Director's Kut Productions). With the notorious plans of Karan (Angad Hasija) coming to the fore, Nimrit (Ankita Sharma) is surely put to the edge. While the wedding preparations of Karan and Nimrit are in process, Nimrit who is being blackmailed by Karan is trying hard to stop the wedding from happening.
So what does Nimrit do? Well, we hear that though Nimrit is frightened about Karan's future plans, she musters courage to arrange some goons to kidnap Karan just before the wedding. Karan is hounded by these rough and tough men who kidnap him by pointing guns at him.
Our source says that the creative team had planned a major action sequence involving the goons and Angad, but it had to be cancelled owing to the recent heavy downpour of rains in Mumbai.
When contacted, Angad Hasija told us, “Karan is shown to be completely negative now, and he wants to marry Nimrit. There is quite a lot of drama in store for viewers, is what I will say. I am enjoying playing this full and full negative role.”
Will Nimrit succeed in her plans? Or will Karan have a counter plan to make this wedding happen?
