So Obama makes that big speech yesterday and what does he do? he jumps on a plane for Africa. In addition, an entire fleet of aircraft take to the skies in support. In Africa there will be DOZENS of vehicles in the air and on the ground burning fuel.
Al Gore? He is no better. Flies everywhere on a private Gulfstream corporate jet. Everywhere he goes there is a motorcade. he owns multiple houses including one just 8 feet above sea level in California. His house in Tennessee was calculated to use as much energy in one year as 20 single family homes.

Truth of the matter is......there is NO problem here. At least not one we can address anyway. The Earth has gone through constant cycles of warming and cooling. That is a fact. It is also a fact that some of these have been VERY dramatic changes. We have only been here just a brief blib in time. We have only had really good detailed weather records from across the globe for the last 30 years. Hear a lot of talk about we are seeing the "worst ever," or "hottest ever". Really? how do we know that for FACT? We do not.
Further......you hear about greenhouse gases. You hear alarming statements about Carbon Dioxide. I have news for you if you did not know......carbon dioxide is a naturally occurring gas! It is found all over in nature! Human output of it now is less than 4 percent of the planets total output. Mt. St. Helens in Washington will in one day release more greenhouse gases into the air than the entire human related output in Washington for one year. Let that sink in.
What this boils down to is control. The elites of this world seek to dominate your life in every way possible. EVERY way. Look at what is happening here in the US. They have destroyed the economy to make us government dependent. The biggest joke ever is hearing Obama talk about improving jobs. Where has he ever shown in his presidency he is serious about anything besides playing rock star, going golfing, and taking vacation after vacation? More Americans than ever are on government assistance for their very survival and more are going to be. Your health and your very life is now in the hands of the government. God help you if you are not a pretty 10 year old girl and you need something done to save or prolong your life. The government has already said....."we all gotta die somehow". And now comes the latest "crisis" which is an attempt to further take over more of your life.

El concurso fue diseñado desde un principio para que "El Gran Colombiano" fuera Uribe. Además fue contratada una agencia de publicidad para generar los votos con los cuales Uribe, en un intento de detener la caída de su popularidad, resultó como ganador.
Citamos: "El 'Gran Colombiano' pertenece a la junta directiva de News Corporation, el segundo grupo de medios más grande del mundo y que tiene vinculación con History Channel. Sigue la polémica por la elección del exmandatario como el personaje más importante de la historia del país. El canal History tiene un convenio con la empresa Star TV, subsidiaria de News Corporation, para transmisión y cesión de estudios en la India.
Por otro lado, "La red de 'hackers' Anonymous hizo una publicación a través de su cuenta de Facebook en la que sugiere la relación entre el expresidente Álvaro Uribe Vélez y el canal que realizó el concurso: "Saben ustedes que es News Corporarion?. Son los dueños de History Channel y miren quien está en la junta directiva ".
Tras la elección, el periódico El Espectador señaló que Uribe “no nos representa”. Extremistas islámicos del grupo rebelde Al Shabaab en Somalia asesinaron públicamente a un joven cristiano la pasada semana, según fuentes de Morning Star News.
Hassan Hurshe, de 28 años de edad, se había convertido al cristianismo tras estar en Kenia, regresó a Somalia, su país de origen, en 2010. Miembros de Al Shabaab, el grupo militar islamista que opera en Somalia, le arrastraron hasta un lugar público en la ciudad de Jilib, donde le dispararon en la cabeza.
Según un testigo "muchas personas vieron esta acción horrible, incluidos mujeres y niños". Según un líder de la iglesia subterránea en Somalia, Hurshe se había convertido en 2006. En 2008 se había casado y tuvo un hijo en 2009.
La familia se trasladó a Jilib en 2010. Se trata de una ciudad de unos 45.000 habitantes en la región de Juba, donde abrió una tienda de alimentos.
Los somalíes son considerados musulmanes por nacimiento, y la apostasía, o dejar el Islam, se castiga con la muerte. Después de la ejecución, los padres de Hurshe, su viuda y su hijo huyeron de la zona.
Muchos cristianos somalíes, que habían huido a Kenia, han regresado al país después de que en agosto de 2012 se formara un gobierno de transición en el país del cuerno de África. En la ciudad costera de Barawa el 16 de noviembre de 2012, militantes de Al Shabaab mataron a un cristiano después de acusarlo de ser un espía y dejar el islam. Los extremistas decapitaron a Farhan Haji Mose, de 25 años de edad, después de supervisar sus movimientos durante seis meses.

She is damn near too good to be true.
The Texas legislator who stood for 11 hours in pink sneakers on Tuesday night to filibuster a bill that would have set strict new abortion limits for the state is a single mother and Harvard law grad who’s shown her grit before.
The Fort Worth Democrat’s one-woman effort to talk down the measure placing stringent restrictions on abortion clinics was ended after state senators ruled that Davis had made three rules infractions, allowing them to break the filibuster. Abortion rights activists had said that Senate Bill 5 would have effectively put an end to the practice in the state of Texas.
After Davis’ filibuster was ended late Tuesday night, legislators voted on the bill -- despite calls of protesters who tried to scream down the final 15 minutes of the special legislative session. Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst later acknowledged that the GOP-backed bill had missed its deadline.
It remained unclear when the bill might go up for a vote again, if at all. Gov. Rick Perry could immediately call the legislators back into a special session.
“Our community is thankful for Wendy Davis’ tenacity to fight for women’s health – her courage is recognized by women of Texas and her leadership reverberates across the country,” Stephanie Schriock, president of EMILY’s List, said in a statement on Tuesday.
“Today was democracy in action,” Davis told a crowd of supporters after the failed attempt at a vote, the Austin American-Statesman reported. “You all are the voices we were speaking for from the floor.”
Nothing was certain for Democrats who wanted to squash the bill on Tuesday, but then, little about Davis' political career has been predictable.
At age 19, Davis was divorced and a single mother, raising her daughter in a trailer park in Tarrant County. She took two years of community college courses before transferring to Texas Christian University, according to her state legislature profile. She became the first person in her family to graduate from college, and went on to Harvard Law School.
Davis, now 50, served nine years on the Fort Worth City Council while practicing as an attorney, then resigned in 2008 to take on a Republican incumbent in the state’s tenth district. She won a hard-fought race against Kim Brimer, securing 49.9 percent of the vote.
Texas Monthly Magazine named her “Rookie of the Year” after the 2009 legislative session.
Democratic Texas state senator Wendy Davis took over the statehouse floor for a successful marathon filibuster of an abortion-related bill that began Tuesday morning and ended 13 hours later, causing the vote on the bill to miss the deadline. NBC's Kelly O'Donnell reports.
She fended off a threat to her seat in 2012 by challenger Mark Shelton – a doctor and married father of four – by about 6,500 votes after what the Fort Worth Star-Telegram called “the state’s nastiest and most expensive legislative race this year.”
The race came after an effort by the state GOP to redraw the district and turn it redder, the Star-Tribune reported, requiring federal courts to step in.
“Hopefully, this shows that when you take care of your constituents, they will reward you by returning you to office,” Davis said at an election watch party after successfully defending her seat, according to the Star-Telegram.
Davis’ district of about 825,000 people is 47.4 percent black and Hispanic, and the number of single-parent families edges slightly above the state average, according to the most recent estimates from the Texas Legislative Council.
Tuesday night’s fireworks were not Davis’ first time making a solo stand. Two years ago she drew national attention after mounting a filibuster against a proposal to make cuts to public education funds.
That filibuster was dismissed by Gov. Rick Perry at the time, who said at a news conference, “We come here to work. We don’t come here to be show horses.”
Perhaps the former contender for the GOP presidential nod is just envious. The Texas Tribune reported that the joke among legislators and staffers under the dome of Texas’ Capitol building is that Davis is the only politician in the Lone Star state with a hairdo that outdoes that of the governor himself.
Davis describes herself as a cyclist and runner on the website of the Fort Worth-based law firm where she is a partner.

Local Dog Needs Votes To Become Next IAMS Star

One local pet could soon be the "top dog." Brooks is a finalist in a national contest that could land her in a national advertising campaign, but she needs the CSRA's help to do it. WJBF News Channel 6's Barclay Bishop has more.
It all started at the beginning of the month when Brooks' owner, Derek Underwood, submitted a video into the IAMS "Love Tail" contest. Now, their story is up against only 10 others across the nation. Brooks' "Love Tail" captured the hearts of those who work at IAMS and soon she was selected. The 2 year old is a therapy dog that goes into hospitals to lift the spirits of those who are sick or disabled. If Brooks is selected as the grand prize winner, she will be the next "star" of a national advertisement campaign for IAMS.
"We just wanted to show that Brooks and I go to hospitals and share her love with people," said Derek Underwood, Brooks' owner. "And she and makes people happy and makes them feel good about themselves and either forget about where they are, or whatever it might be, by just her presence there. And she really relaxes everybody and makes them feel, makes them feel good. Please come out and vote for our video. Brooks would be grateful, we would all be grateful. You know, maybe more people would be inspired to certify their dog as a therapy dog, and go do volunteer work like this. I think in the end, making more people aware that it's not something that's not possible. I think a lot of people think, 'oh, well my dog isn't bred for that, or isn't that kind of a dog.' And really that's not the case, any dog can be a therapy dog."

The recent uncovering of Prism, the covert digital surveillance operation carried out by the National Security Agency, has the airwaves and blogosphere abuzz with a phrase that packs a hefty political and emotional punch: Big Brother. Journalists, reporters, bloggers, and even the president have employed the term in recent weeks to refer to the US government, surfacing the association that exists in many people’s minds with the nightmarish consequences of unchecked political power.
The association can be attributed to George Orwell’s classic novel 1984, a cautionary tale of a totalitarian regime that utilizes invasive surveillance tactics and propaganda to control its populace. Big Brother is the epithet of the fictional ruling party’s enigmatic dictator—who may or may not exist—and the subject of the book’s most famous (and once again topical) line: “Big Brother is watching you.” In the wake of the Prism story, sales of 1984 have skyrocketed. It’s safe to say we’ve got Big Brother on the brain.
While Orwell is responsible for the sense of the term that’s dominating headlines today, the phrase Big Brother has been used to personify a governmental authority since the mid-1800s. H.G. Wells used it in a slightly broader sense his 1937 novel Star Begotten: “Out of these cravings come all these impulses towards slavish subjection to Gods, Kings, leaders, heroes, bosses, mystical personifications like the People, My Country Right or Wrong, the Church, the Party, the Masses, the Proletariat. Our imaginations hang on to some such Big Brother idea almost to the end.”
But Orwell’s repurposing of the term into something unambiguously menacing in 1949 resulted in a near eclipse of its former sense. Now, more commonly than not, it’s used to allude to a governmental authority that flagrantly abuses its power and threatens civil liberties. Rumor has it that Orwell was inspired by billboards for educational correspondence courses during World War II that featured an imposing and stern-looking man with the text “Let me be your big brother.” 1984 can also be credited with introducing the words doublethink and newspeak into the lexicon.
Literature has a long history of giving name to and ideas or concepts that are on the tips of our tongues; catch-22, quixotic, malapropism, and yahoo come to mind. Of course none of these has the achieved the buzzword status of Big Brother. Ayn Rand’s lexicographical contributions were brought back into vogue a few years ago, when sales for her homage to the free market and individualism, Atlas Shrugged, spiked with news of the bank bailouts. Pundits and politicians drew from her writings to rally anti-bailout, anti-big government sentiment. “Going Galt” is one notable phrase, named for Atlas Shrugged’s protagonist John Galt, that continues to resurface in the cultural dialog, referring to a person who retreats from society as a form of protest against perceived excessive taxation and government regulation.
From Big Brother or Going Galt, there’s no question that literature continues to play an influential role in helping us frame and discuss events of our day—and the terms themselves become more complex and layered as we reappropriate them over time. Recently, on the History Channel, was aired another video in the "Histories Mysteries" series titled "Sodom and Gomorrah." The video features the ancient Biblical cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, and presents information from skeptics who doubt the Bible's accuracy concerning what led to the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. One of the main skeptics, Dr. Carole Fontaine, a feminist theologian and faculty director at Andover Newton Theological School, states...
"We sometimes find when we look at Bible stories that people think they know what they say. When we look more closely we sometimes find that the text is ambivalent."
Ambivalent? According to Dr. Fontaine, the greatest sin of the inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah may have been their lack of hospitality towards guests visiting their city, and not sexual deviance (never mind the mob of queers about to break down lot's front door and rape the guests - Genesis 19:4-9). Unbelievably, Fontaine claims that homosexuality in Sodom and Gomorrah may not have been the sin which brought God's judgment.
God Destroyed Sodom Because of Fornication and Homosexuality
However, miss Fontaine needs to look at the entire Word of God, not just Genesis. The Bible plainly states in the New Testament, in Jude 1:7...
"Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange (Greek: different, other) flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire."
I don't see any mention of "hospitality" miss Fontaine, but I do see "fornication" and "going after strange flesh." The term "going after strange flesh" is explained to us in Proverbs 7:5 and Romans 1:26-27...
"That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words."
"For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet."
"Going after strange flesh" in the Bible is not necessarily homosexuality, as we are warned about the "strange" adulterous woman in Proverb 5:20; 7:5; but, the context of Jude 1:7 clearly implies homosexuality. "Going after strange flesh" means going after flesh "different" than what is rightfully ours to claim (our spouse's body -1st Corinthians 7:4). Notice that Jude mentions both "fornication" and "going after strange flesh."
Obviously, Sodom's sins were more than fornication, and certainly more than a "lack of hospitality." The "strange" flesh simply refers to that which is forbidden by God for us to have, it is flesh outside the bounds of God's laws; hence, the term "sexual deviance" (to deviate from what is acceptable to God).
Sayville, New York; Las Vegas, Nevada: Modern Sodom & Gomorrah
We also read in 2nd Peter 2:6,7...
"And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked."
The "filthy conversation" of the wicked, literally means, the "filthy manner of life" of the wicked. The Greek noun for "conversation" is "anastrophe," which means, "behavior." Hence, Sodom and Gomorrah were saturated with sexual deviance, filthy behavior, and every form of godlessness known to mankind. This today could be likened to Sayville, New York--a town so gay that it is commonly referred to as "Gayville," or of "Sin City" Las Vegas in Nevada.
As Sayville is the world's gayest suburb, gay prostitution has historically been common. It is most rampant in the village on summer weekends when rich homosexuals come out to Sayville to visit Fire Island. Young male college students supplement their incomes by performing trick with these rich men in exchange for cash. Weekend sightings of the cast of "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" is common in Sayville. Actor Harvey Fierstein (Pictured with with Rod Stewart) is often seen in Sayville on his way to Cherry Grove.
Because he is gay, he is extremely popular in Sayville and wherever he goes he draws huge crowds in the village. He is the star of the hit Broadway Musical where he plays a girl's mother. According to Ruth E. Harlow in her article Let's Leave No Child Behind (7/06/2001) in the Lambda Legal, she says that Sayville had the "first full-fledged prom for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender high school students in suburbia – specifically, Sayville, New York." According to the gay organization, LIGALY, Sayville hosted “America’s first-ever full-fledged suburban gay prom.” Long Island Gay and Lesbian Youth (LIGALY) will host its second annual gay prom.
The event, entitled “The LIGALY Prom - Pride Gala 2002,” will be held on June 7, 2002 at the Island Hills Golf and Country Club in Sayville, NY," which was publicized in their May 28, 2002 press release. Sayville has truly earned the title of "Gayville," a modern-day Sodom awaiting God's judgment.
Las Vegas mocks God by calling their town "Sin City," which is found on their official Chamber of Commerce website at http://www.sincitychamberofcommerce.com. Their official slogan is "...where business is pleasure." The clear implication is sexual pleasure. The godless website goes on to say in the section, "Sin City For Gays"...
"Gay Las Vegas. The Sin City Chamber of Commerce is pleased to support the Gay and Lesbian Community. We believe everyone enjoys the freedom to live the lifestyle they choose."
In lieu of such wickedness, do you think God is going to bless America? The Las Vegas--Sin City Chamber of Commerce website, mocks God, even promoting legalized prostitution at the "Chicken Ranch" and the "Wild Kat Ranch" outside of Las Vegas. The Sin City Chamber of Commerce website is decorated with serpents, serpents seducing women, and a red apple with a bite taken out of it. Thus, mocking the Biblical account of Eve being seduced by Satan; and her sinning, by eating of the forbidden fruit.
The website promotes several strip joints, escort services, and links to pornography. This is Las Vegas' OFFICIAL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE! Do you think God is pleased by such wickedness? I recall speaking with a Lutheran pastor from Bensenville, Illinois a couple years back. He told me that he had organized a bus trip to Las Vegas with his church members and friends. This "pastor" collected the money, made all the arrangements, drove the bus, and took his congregation to SIN CITY! Talk about apostasy!!! I would NEVER bring anyone to such a godless place as SIN CITY Las Vegas!
Europe and America are Becoming a Giant Sodom and Gomorrah!
Even if we were to lay aside the Word of God for a moment, common sense should tell us what Sodom was like. Just look at the world today, especially America and Europe! The United States today is MUCH worse than Sodom! Sodom didn't have the magazines, photos, videos, or internet to produce pornography. Yet God reigned down fire and brimstone in fierce judgment upon Sodom and Gomorrah! God's judgment upon America will be infinitely greater than that which fell upon Sodom. Hell will be hot! People nowadays are so indifferent concerning sin that they fail to realize just how wicked society has become.
Witchcraft is more popular than ever in America and Europe because of the Hellishness of Harry Potter. Even the U.S. Navy recognizes Wicca witchcraft as a legitimate religion. The U.S. accounts for 25% of the world's child-sex tourism. Hollywood produces the most lascivious, adulterous, murderous, damnable movies on earth. Walt Disney is controlled by Satan, producing godless movies which brainwash children with rock music, New Age philosophies, feminism, and witchcraft. Take a look at the abominable NARNIA. Americans have idly sat back and allowed 50,000,000 babies to be murdered through abortion. Now the body parts are even being sold.
Nevada brags of legalized prostitution. Las Vegas is so wicked that they even mock God by calling their town "Sin City." American and European youth idolize demonic rock stars such as Satanist Ozzy Osbourne, homosexual Elton John, Christ-blasphemer John Lennon, Atheist Paul McCartney, bisexual Satanist Mick Jagger, and so many more. The world today is wicked! The Word of God tells us that the world is a wicked place (1st John 5:19).
The Judgment Upon Sodom and Gomorrah Represents the Lake of Fire
What in the world would lead any professed "theologian," such as Carole Fontaine, to believe that things were any different in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah? Do you actually expect us to believe that homosexuality wasn't being practiced in Sodom? Jude 1:7 plainly tells us that God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of their sexual sins. We read in Genesis 13:13, "But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly." God said that the men of Sodom were sinners EXCEEDINGLY!
Surely a person does not need a degree in theology, to know that the word EXCEEDINGLY meant that these men of Sodom were rotten to the core. These weren't petty criminals. Genesis 19:4-9 tells us about two angels who were sent by God to deliver Lot, and his family, out of Sodom. The angels came in the appearance of regular men. The homosexuals in the city of Sodom wanted to rape the two visitors. In fact, Verse 4 tells us that ALL the men of Sodom were outside their door. It is obvious to anyone who believes the Word of God, that Sodom was predominantly homosexual, and these homosexuals were violent (as is often the case today).
You are wrong Dr. Fontaine! We read in both 2nd peter 2:6 and Jude 1:7 that God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah as an EXAMPLE of what is going to happen to all the wicked. Since we don't see fire and brimstone coming out of the sky today, it is obvious that the Scriptures are referring to the Lake of Fire. 2nd Thessalonians 1:8 supports this, "In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ." We read about the Lake of Fire in Revelation 20:11-15. This will be the eternal damnation of all those who die in their sins, never having been born-again in Christ Jesus (John 3:3).
Carole Fontaine's Unscholarly Rubbish
Carole Fontaine also states in the "Sodom and Gomorrah" video...
"Once science entered into the world it was no longer so easy to believe the miracles of the Bible so there has a been a desire, I think, to be prove them to be true and I think that is exactly what drives people out into the Dead Sea region to try to dig up ancient legends like Sodom and Gomorrah." (emphasis added)
Folks, this is a professed "theologian" at Andover Newton Theological School who supposedly studies about God. Ironically, she does NOT believe the Word of God. Science? Scientists can't even predict the weather with certainty. There is no scientific evidence against the Bible. Archeologists have verified that the two cities of Sodom and Gomorrah did exist, and were destroyed by some cataclysmic event (which is documented in the same "Sodom and Gomorrah" video).
Then the video goes on to suggest that perhaps an invading enemy burned Sodom and Gomorrah instead of God. Why is it so hard to accept the Word of God miss Fontaine? It is wicked for anyone, in the name of theology, to attempt to twist and change the Word of God to justify homosexuality. Homosexuality is an abominable wicked sin unto God. God hates homosexuality; but he loves all sinners--so much that He sent His only begotten Son into the world to die for our sins (John 3:16).
Again, Dr. Fontaine states...

Miss Fontaine may claim that Genesis is "ambivalent," but 2nd Peter 2:6 and Jude 1:7 surely aren't. I also don't believe that any honest student of the Bible could ever view the Book of Genesis as "ambivalent" (or uncertain). Fontaine claims that the sin of Sodom was a failure to be hospitable, and not sexual deviance. Evidently she is either homosexual herself or in favor of the homosexuals. You cannot show me one Scripture in the entire Bible which even hints that God destroyed Sodom because they weren't cordial and generous to others.
Fontaine's idea is ludicrous. To overlook an angry mob of homosexuals who are ready to break someone's front door down and rape them, is the height of ignorance or wicked tampering with the Bible. Miss Fontaine claims their great sin was a "lack of hospitality." No miss Fontaine, if it weren't for the angels being protected, the sins of Sodom's men would have been numerous: homosexuality, aggravated assault, battery, rape, sodomy, kidnapping, intent to harm, breaking an entry, disturbing the peace, verbal assault, threatening, mob action, brutality, and possibly even murder.
I hardly think a lesson in being hospitable would have cured their demons. Do you think these were the only victims of these vicious homosexuals? Thankfully the angels had the power to escape. One can only imagine how many innocent people were raped, sodomized by these cut-throat monstrous homosexuals. No wonder God destroyed them all.
The History Channel verses God's Word
The "Histories Mysteries" narrator goes onto say...
"Contributing to the belief that the story of Sodom and Gomorrah may be more fable than fact is the predominance of similar tales from folklore."
"After close study of the Sodom and Gomorrah story, in Genesis, many scholars have come to doubt its true intent was to condemn sexual deviance."
You never would have read such a foolish statement years back when everyone knew that God created Adam and Eve; not Adam and Steve. In the modern apostate condition of the church, it is not surprising that professed "Theologians" would try to condone homosexuality with the Bible. Of course, these are NOT true Christians; but rather, imposters! The New International Version (NIV) of the Bible completely removes the word "sodomite" from the Bible.
It shouldn't come as a surprise that at least two of the literary critics on the review board of the NIV were openly homosexual, including the chairman of the Old Testament committee, Dr. Marten Woudstra. Should it be surprising to us that homosexuals would want to attack the truthful account of Sodom and Gomorrah, in an attempt to lessen the evils of homosexuality? Not at all, for this is how Satan deceitfully works. Yet, unbelievably, most believers today proudly display their NIV perverted Bibles for everyone to see.
How could ANY professed "Christian" defend the NIV? Do you know who owns Zondervan publishers? Harper Collins! Yes, that's right, Harper Collins own Zondervan, the company which publishes the NIV. Did you know that Harper Collins also publishes "The Satanic Bible," and "The Joys of Gay Sex!" It's a mockery to God Almighty!!!
The History Channel video speaks of "tales from folklore," claiming that there are other legends and fables from history which can be compared to the Biblical account of Sodom and Gomorrah. Again, they're trying to discredit the Word of God. There is a vast difference between ancient folklore and the actual cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, which scientists have PROVEN to have been destroyed simultaneously by some cataclysmic event (just as the Bible declares). We know God sent messengers to Sodom to rescue Lot.
The History Channel goes on to claim that some "scholars" believe that the cities supposedly destroyed by God were destroyed via mere human neglect. But they don't mention the names of any of these "scholars." Who are these scholars? No doubt there was wickedness in many forms in Sodom and Gomorrah; but, that doesn't lessen the evils of homosexuality.
Guess Who Owns the History Channel?
Now I'm going to shock you, and you should be shocked. Sin should always shock us! I am leery of the professed Christian who is not shocked concerning sin. After doing some research, I was surprised to find out that Walt Disney owns hundreds of TV, radio, magazine, cable, publishing, and internet outlets. Interestingly, Walt Disney also owns the History Channel. Did you know that the Walt Disney corporation is working relentlessly to promote acceptance of homosexuality? And they have billions of dollars and hundreds of media outlets to do it!
Don't believe me, take a look at www.gayday.com. Every June since 1991, homosexuals numbering up to 100,000 have descended upon Walt Disney World for the Gay Day's event, which is not sponsored by the Walt Disney Company but is organized with the entertainment giant's tacit approval, according to the Christian Action Network (CAN).
"I want to point out that this event is not called 'Gay Days in Orlando,' it's called 'Gay Days at Walt Disney World,'" CAN President Martin Mawyer said. "And as such, we believe Disney is responsible for all the activity that takes place under the umbrella of this event, whether it takes place on Disney property or off Disney property. But as you can see, there is plenty of offensive homosexual activity taking place within the Disney theme parks that would shock most parents and their small children."- (Martin Mawyer, director, Christian Action Network)

Homosexuals are invited every year to spend the first weekend in June at Disney World. Michael Eisner, the Jewish head of Disney, provides homos with special discounts at the Marriott Courtyard in the Disney Village and at the Dolphin and Swan hotels. Eisner even set aside Pleasure Island in the middle of the theme park exclusively for homos this past June 5th - 9th. Some 60,000 homos from throughout the nation attended and the orgy continued all night long. Shocked tourists with children reported seeing men kissing men and fondling one another in public! This is the fifteenth year in a row that this debauchery has been held.
Disney, under Michael Eisner, has abandoned traditional family values to promote the perversions of the homo agenda. Members of the First Baptist Church in Conyers, Ga., were interviewed. Rev. Paul Purvis said: "Has Mickey gone Goofy, or have Christians grown lazy? Disney has fallen out of rank and no longer stands with the family. This is not about making Disney poor, it is about making us pure." Church member Matthew Hankins said: "We will not purchase Disney products and will not go to Disney world."
Baptist Convention delegate Lisa Kinney of Largo, Fl., drew applause when she said: "The boycott affirms to the world that we love Jesus more than we love entertainment. If we must turn off our TVs, so be it., It's no great loss. We can't participate in Disney's godlessness." Wiley Drake of Buena Park, Ca., said that he took his three children to Disney last June and, "we were shocked to see men in drag French kissing each other in front of our children." Convention official, Richard Lamb, said: "Now Disney is going to find out just how many regiments and just how many divisions of Godly people the Southern Baptists have!"
Walt Disney launched Disney Studios with a few thousand dollars. His animation genius led to such classics as the 1937 production of Snow White which has grossed over $400 million. -SOURCE

"Not only did we see men kissing men, but these shirtless homosexuals were twisting the nipples of each other and fondling the butts and groins of their 'lovers.' Tragically, the SBC dipped their sails, lifting their ban on Walt Disney in 2005. Walt Disney openly admits that they never changed one policy due to pressure from the SBC. It is sickening! No professed Christian should ever go to Disney World, watch their movies, or have anything to do with such a godless company.
It doesn't surprise me that the same company (Disney) who would host an annual GAY DAY convention, would also produce a video ("Sodom and Gomorrah") which tries to discredit the Word of God; featuring a feminist theologian who claims that the inhabitants of Sodom were not judged for their sexual deviance. Sadly, the American Family Association, and James Dobson's Focus On The Family, also lifted their bans against Disney in 2005. It is tragic!
In Disney's woeful new series, Desperate Housewives, God is utterly mocked. America has become worse than the godless Old Testament cities of Sodom and Gomorrah! These two cities were so wicked that God reigned down fire and Brimstone upon them as an EXAMPLE (Jude 1:7) of what would happen to those who live ungodly (1st Thessalonians 1:8, the Lake of Fire). Everywhere we turn nowadays, we are surrounded by sin, and people who love to watch others commit sin (Romans 1:32).

Beyond the fact that all of the housewives are attractive, as author Myrna Blyth, former editor of Ladies Home Journal, points out, 'At least once an episode one of the housewives manages to turn up in Victoria’s Secret underwear.'
There is the seemingly required club scene, complete with gyrating, minimally-clad dancers; wives seducing their husbands; a prostitute who services a straying husband, Rex, who has a fancy for bondage; the fornication between Susan and handsome, single neighbor Mike; and the adultery between Gabrielle and John. You may not understand why, but God knows all things and the natural, emotional and spiritual consequences are evident.
God does not hate the sinner but detests the practice thereof.
He accepts all for who we are (for He made us) but He loves us too much to keep us the same way. We need change so we can re-connect with our creator. I do not believe in discrimination nor hatred nor the negation of civil rights to any one. But I believe that a Holy right can only be granted to those living holy lives. God's Word gives us instructions on how to do so. Let us earn holy privileges by living holy before Him through Christ and the strength and power of the Holy Spirit. If you love Him, obey Him and He will prove to you why His way is the best way.
