41. Kalighat (Kolkotta) Devi’s four small toes from her right foot fell here and the idols are Devi as Kali and Shiva as Nakulish or Nakuleswar. Famous pilgrimage located in Kolkotta in the state of West Bengal. Kali is a dark complexioned form of Shakti who has taste for blood and death. She rules over the cremation sites and is worshipped by devotees on a dark and moon less night. She is a popular deity of Bengal. kali is the female version of Kala or end of time.

Dear PAWS Supporter,
I am writing to all of you with pressure about maintaining the required balance in PAWS account to pay various bills & utilities. PAWS only have hardly 8 to 9 monthly donors & many of monthly donors are now a days not sending regular contributions due to reasons like Job shifting, change of bank address etc.
PAWS need more monthly donations, otherwise I am not able to run the hospital. We do not charge for treatments & hospitalizations & we request people to donate some 300 to 400 bucks towards petrol wherein we spending almost 700 for fuel each day covering 60 kms. span of rescue. Most of the time the animal remain with us for more then 20 days. During these days, PAWS provides 3 meals, medication each day with donation generated through contacts.
PAWS don't have any foreign contribution neighter PAWS gets any govt. grant nor we are having any CSR backup. PAWS run purely on donations who believe in our cause. Kindly encourage your friends to contribute monthly. PAWS needs more monthly donors. Monthly contributions will make us more sustainable. The time we spend on marketing & mailer & requesting donation can be well invested in rescuing animals & providing them a better life. Kindly treat this mailer as my personal request & pl. send monthly donations & encourage more people to donate. PAWS requires 1 lakh per month to run the show. There for requesting all to help us in our animal rescue & welfare activities.
